The NCU Senior Provincial side won CSA Provincial One-Day Challenge and shared the Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, last season. This team performance lead Mark Charlton to being awarded the PitchVision CSA Provincial Coach of the Year and Grant Thomson the CSA Three-Day Player of the Year. Four players were rewarded with franchise contracts.

The function is to make sure all players are well developed and equipped with the necessary skills. All players requires a good good understanding of their game and their roles within the team. It is also with utmost important that we make sure that players are prepared to play and perform at the next level. We will make it our responsibility to support each one of the players on and off the field in all aspects of life. We aim to improve their lives and to ensure they take their place in society as human beings after cricket.
